If the Indoor Camera or Smart Door and Window Sensors detect anyone trying to break in, you'll be sent a notification on your smartphone via the Home + Security app. Then the Smart Siren, connected to the camera and sensors, will scare off the burglar with a powerful alarm. 

Useful real-time alerts 

Security cameras are a great addition to any home, but false alarms can be a nuisance with some monitoring systems. Luckily, thanks to facial recognition, the Indoor Camera can tell the difference between family members and potential intruders. Our smart video cameras also recognise your pets and will only trigger the Alarm when there’s a genuine break-in. 

The alarm system automatically activates when you go out and deactivates when you come back home. The smart devices are programmed to alert you only when necessary, so you can say goodbye to false alarms. 

Wireless installation made easy 

Just position your Smart Indoor Camera facing your front door and connect it to your home WiFi. Stick the Smart Door and Window Sensors to your doors and windows, whatever type you have. They'll detect any motion and vibrations which could indicate the presence of a burglar. It then takes just a few minutes to connect the sensors to the Indoor Camera. 

Place the Smart Indoor Siren on a piece of furniture or mount it on the wall, then follow the instructions in the app to set up your alarm. It can run on batteries or mains power – the choice is yours!

Interoperability and compatibility 

If you want the best possible protection for your home, you can add other devices to your security set-up. For instance, you can connect our Smart Smoke or Carbon Monoxide Alarm to your alarm system with cameras. Because two cameras are better than one, you may also want to install the Outdoor Camera in your garden. Then you can set your Smart Outdoor Camera’s siren to sound as soon as the wireless alarm system detects an intruder, creating a true Netatmo security ecosystem.
